Susan Binford

As an artist, I intend to share my interpretation of nature and inspire a deeper relationship between the viewer and our world. As an individual and artist, I find myself intrigued by the forces of life and am compelled to explore subjects further through interesting textures and applications. I am a multimedia artist and mainly work in acrylic, oil, and encaustic paints.

Different media allow me to create a range of effects that present subjects in various ways. For example, my mosaic style is created in acrylic paints because that is the best media compatible with the base textures.
