Padgett Mason

All of her life, Padgett has been influenced by art and been drawn to creating her own.

She pursued this desire in college and earned a B.A. in Art Education at San Diego State University.

For the past 26 years, she’s been working as a professional Artist. Her work is in many homes throughout the U.S. and abroad. She feels great gratitude to her collectors.

Padgett paints daily and truly loves creating. Her style is very whimsical and cheerful. Her primary medium is Acrylic, but she also enjoys working with watercolors, silk painting, and mixed media. She loves to experiment with paint and challenge herself as an artist. Padgett’s work has been referred to as fun, fresh and charming. Bright colors and jeweled tones are often the stars of the show in her works. She adores all animals, but cats of all sizes are her favorite subject. She specializes in Pet Portraits, both whimsical and realistic. She is well known for her “Funky Feline” characters. These silly kitties have been bringing smiles to many faces for 20 years now.

She is a juried member of the Spanish Village Art Center in beautiful Balboa Park, located in sunny San Diego. Her work can be found in Studios 16B and 23.
